This was a wonderful show but sadly it ended on February 19, 2005. I know that I will miss this show.
This is one of the best shows that I have ever seen at Universal Studios. The use of the already in place stage (located at the end of 57th Street in New York) was a boom in itself. Not as big on pyrotechnics as the staged Beetlejuice show this one carries a big explosion in talent alone.
The Ghostbusters come to bust out our favorite dead man, Beetlejuice, and end up pawns in his world of Milli Vanilli (lip syncing that is). I was amazed at how fine tuned these guys were at the variety of music they "belt" out. Not to miss is the rendition of "I Feel Like A Woman" and keep in mind there is NO woman in the show. The show lasts 15 to 20 minutes and I only seen one person leave, in the two shows I watched, and she had to take her child to the restroom.
Whoever from Universal came up with this concept and the use of the New York stage needs a BIG pat on the back. And whatever you do make sure that you take advantage of the Meet and Greet with Beetlejuice.
