2004 Description
Mardi Gras 2004 began at Universal Studios on Valentine's Day and continued on Saturdays only through March 27. Mardi Gras 2004 followed in the path of years gone by with featuring wonderful entertainment with a lot of excitement.  Although the 2004 event did not run as long as usual (February 14 - March 27, 2004 on  Saturdays ONLY!) it was a celebration to remember. Universal has always done a wonderful job with this event and 2004 continued with the same energy and bead throwing as all the others were. This years event featured 10 great performers including Cyndi Lauper and The Black Eyed Peas.

2003
Mardi Gras 2003 was a great event just like years past. The bands were fantastic and the atmosphere was spectacular. This event is always touted as the biggest Mardi Gras celebration east of New Orleans and it totally came through this year. The event ran from February 21 - April 5 on Friday and Saturday and April 11 - April 26 every day. This years event featured 10 headline concerts.

2002
February 8th, 2002 brought the beginning of the biggest Mardi Gras celebration, this side of New Orleans, to Universal Studios. This celebration continued Fridays and Saturdays from February 8 to March 9 and then nightly from March 15 to April 6. Mardi Gras is included with regular admission and guests enjoying Mardi Gras on Saturdays from February 8 to March 9 will get to see some superstar bands and performers in a free concert.

Mardi-Gras at Universal Studios is worth the price of an annual pass all by itself. It runs for approximately 6 weeks and there is a party, parade and band every night! They always have great bands live in concert every Saturday. The parades are also excellent .
