Our favorite city, other than Orlando, is Las Vegas. Since officially becoming a city in 1911 the transformation to this city is probably greater than any other city in the United States. Gambling, as we all know, is the heart and soul of the city but actually gambling was not legalized until 1931. The Las Vegas of today can be traced back to some very seedy characters. Mobsters Bugsy Siegel and Meyer Lansky managed or funded all of the original casinos and were focal in getting gambling legalized within the city.
There is so much to see and do in "Vegas" that visitors may find that no matter how long they visit they still haven't seen it all. The city is also growing almost continuously with the addition of new casinos and attractions.
Members of our staff have made several recent visits to Las Vegas and have acquired over 1200 photos in our many visits. We are also so much in love with this city that we are going to go a little more in-depth than we do with most of the Non Florida locations. This section of the site will keep growing as we continue to add new content.
