The Contemporary Resort is one of the older WDW resorts but I still think it's one of the best. It has recently went through some refurbishing and now this resort is even better than before. One of the best things about this resort is the Monorail goes right through the building and it takes only moments to get to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
This resort offers three fine restaurants to choose from: Chef Mickey's Restaurant, Concourse Steakhouse, and California Grill (which is a great place to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks). The resort amenities include the Olympiad Fitness Center with nautilus equipment, cardio and strength equipment, sauna, massage services and tanning booths, two heated outdoor pools (one with waterslide), kiddie pool, jacuzzi, game room, playground, tennis court, and sand volleyball court. The resort is also located on a beautiful lake with a white sand beach and watercraft rentals. It also offers the Mouseketeer Clubhouse with themed babysitting service for kids ages 4-12.
