The Crowne Plaza Universal opened on June 17, 2002 and has quickly become a popular hotel with visitors. This 15 story hotel is located within walking distance of International Drive and within minutes of all area attractions. This hotel is comprised of two elements. The Crowne Wing is home to the conference center and most of the guest rooms. The Atrium Tower is comprised of guest rooms and suites arranged around a circular atrium that reaches from the ground floor to a sky dome 15 stories up. Glass elevators facing the atrium serve the Atrium Tower guest rooms, suites and Presidential Suite.
